This is my grandmother's recipe (which wasn't all that unhealthy to begin with) with some changes to it. Ingredients:
1 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 bananas, mashed |
1/4 cup applesauce |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/2 cup skim milk powder |
4 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix wheat germ and all wet ingredients together until just blended. 2. Sift together all other ingredients over the wet ingredients, mix until just blended. 3. Grease a 8x8 inch pan and sprinle with some wheat germ. 4. Bake in a 350deg oven for 25-30mins. |
