This is just your basic Jiffy cornbread mix with one healthy addition - squash. This tastes amazingly moist and buttery. The squash melts into the batter and your kids will never know it is there. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) box jiffy cornbread mix |
1 egg |
1/3 cup milk |
1 large yellow squash |
Directions:
1. Mix up cornbread according to package directions. 2. Peel squash. 3. Grate squash directly into the mix. 4. Stir well. 5. Bake according to the package directions. |
