This pizza recipe is from Betty - originally has spinach in it. Is is 42% less calories, 55% less fat and 60% more Vitamin A than their original recipe for pizza. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour |
1 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/2 cup skim milk |
2 tbsp olive oil |
6 oz reduced fat mozzarella cheese |
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes, from can |
122 g green pepper |
86 g red pepper |
66 g yellow onion |
1/4 tsp garlic powder |
1/4 tsp oregano, dried |
1/8 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 F. To make crust mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and oil until soft dough forms. On a lightly floured surface knead dough 10 times. Shape dough into a ball and cover with bowl; let stand for 10 minutes. 2. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Roll into 12-inch round. Bake 8 minutes. 3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over crust then top with remaining ingredients. Bake 15-20 minutes until crust is golden and cheese begins to brown. |
