Healthier Vanilla Ice Cream |

I have not made this recipe. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
3/4 cup egg substitute |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 (14 ounce) can fat-free sweetened condensed milk |
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated skim milk |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
5 cups 1% low-fat milk |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs and egg substitute until frothy; add sugar and beat well. 2. Add condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla, mixing well. 3. Pour mixture into a large, heavy saucepan. 4. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. 5. Let mixture cool. 6. Add milk. 7. Pour into freezer can and freeze mixture according to manufacturer's instructions. 8. Let ice cream ripen about 1 hour. |
