My son and I love crepes, but I'm trying to watch my cholesterol and eat a bit healthier so I started playing with whole wheat flour and egg beaters Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup white flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup 1% low-fat milk |
1/4 cup egg beaters egg substitute |
1 tablespoon margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in food processor and mix for 20-30 seconds. 2. Heat medium sized pan on medium heat and spray with Pam. 3. Ladle about 1/4 cup of batter onto pan and swirl the pan to spread the batter. 4. Cook 30-60 seconds until edges start curling, then flip and repeat. |
