Coconut oil is known for its many health benefits and coconut palm sugar is an all natural low glycemic index sweetener (GI 35) so it is better for diabetics. Ingredients:
1 slice bread |
extra virgin coconut oil |
ground cinnamon (or cinnamon mix) |
coconut palm sugar (i use sweet tree's blonde) |
Directions:
1. Toast bread in toaster. After toasted, use a butter knife to spread the coconut oil liberally over the toast as you would butter-the oil will melt into the toast so don't use too much. Sprinkle sugar evenly over toast then sprinkle cinnamon evenly over toast. Amounts are to your preference. 2. Note: you can also substitute Pumpkin Pie Spice in place of the cinnamon. |
