12 ounces lean ground turkey |
1 large white onion, chopped |
2 cups mushrooms, sliced |
1 cup beef broth, organic if you can find it |
250 g fat free sour cream |
1/2 cup fresh chives, chopped |
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Add onions and mushrooms and saute all until onions begin to caramelize. 3. Add beef broth, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. 4. Remove lid and reduce beef broth by half. 5. Remove from heat and add fat-free sour cream. 6. Serve over organic brown rice or, for a real treat, over baked sweet potato. 7. Sprinkle with fresh chopped chives. |
