There aren't very many things better than this when it comes to helping our your body. Plus, it's yummy. And if it's too fruity for you, you can always add a scoop of non-fat frogurt to make it thick and creamy, I suppose :) To harvest the aloe vera gel, use a knife to filet away all of the green skin and any of the red veins along the inside. Then just toss it in the blender. I also usually add a teaspoon of lemon-flavored fish oil for Omega-3's, but this is not necessary. Aloe vera is known to cure ulcers, Crohn's, fight cancer and disease and do so many wonderful things! Ingredients:
1 cup blueberries (frozen, unsweetened is what i use) |
1 cup orange juice |
1 cup aloe vera gel (fresh cut, not the stuff they sell for your skin!) |
