HAZELNUT CHEESECAKE SUPREME This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Newcomb Estate in Amarillo, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups graham crackers crumbs |
1/2 cup butter melted |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg yolk |
24 ounces cream cheese softened |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/4 cup hazelnut liqueur |
1/4 cup finely chopped hazelnuts |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine crackers and nuts then stir in butter. 2. Press mixture onto bottom and about 2 up sides of spring form pan then set aside. 3. In large mixing bowl beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla. 4. Add eggs and yolk all at once beating on low speed until combined then stir in liqueur. 5. Pour filling into crust then place in shallow baking pan in oven. 6. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes then cool on wire rack. 7. Loosen sides of pan then cool 1 hour. 8. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. |
