This recipe I got from a friend of mine about 25 years ago, its like no other recipe you have tasted, it is the best one you will have, and keep it forever. Ingredients:
1 chicken, cut up |
3 tablespoons oil |
flour (for dredging) |
1 medium onion, diced |
1 green bell pepper, diced |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 (20 ounce) can tomato puree |
2 ounces water |
salt |
Directions:
1. heat oil in oven safe skillet, dredge chicken in flour, and brown on all sides. Add rest of ingredients in skillet and bake in preheated oven on 300 deg oven for 2 hours. |
