a YUMMY recipe for chicken that is great for a summer bbq or a luau grill it after baking or just bake it...either way it tastes great over steamed rice! Ingredients:
6 skinless chicken breasts |
16 ounces undrained pineapple (crushed or cubes or rings (your choice) |
1/4 cup sherry wine or 1/4 cup chicken broth |
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard |
1/4 cup honey |
2 tablespoons butter (melted) |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Arrange chicken in a large shallow baking dish coated with nonstick spray. In a bowl combine the sherry OR chicken broth, (YOUR CHOICE)mustard,honey,butter and pineapple with juice. mix well. spoon over chicken and sprinkle with paprika. bake uncovered at 400 degrees 35-45 min or till meat thermometer reads 180. and if you wish you could shorten the time and grill for the remaining time. |
