1. HAWAIIAN WEDDING CAKE 2. So moist, and as Hawaiian as your creative juices will allow. 3. cups all purpose flour 4. cups sugar 5. eggs 6. tsp baking soda 7. cup chopped nuts 8. cup coconut 9. (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice 10. Mix all ingredients and pour into greased 13 x 9” pan. 11. Bake at 350 F degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool. 12. (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese 13. /2 cup powdered (icing) sugar 14. /2 cup butter 15. tsp vanilla 16. Blend well. Frost cooled cake. Garnish with chopped nuts, coconut or chopped fruit, if desired. 17. Commentary suggestions: 18. tsp coconut extract in the cake 19. /2 tsp coconut extract in the frosting. |
