A twist on the classic turtle candies. I love white chocolate and nuts. Yum! Recipe came from Simple & Delicious magazine. Cook time includes chill time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups vanilla chips or 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips |
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped |
18 caramels |
2 teaspoons heavy whipping cream |
12 dried pineapple, chopped |
Directions:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt vanilla chips; stir until smooth. 2. Pour by teaspoonfuls into greased miniature muffin cups (fill halfway); set aside remaining melted chips. 3. Sprinkle the center of each muffin cup with nuts. 4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramels and cream; stir until smooth. 5. Pour over nuts. 6. Reheat reserved chips if necessary; pour over caramel mixture. 7. Top each with pineapple. 8. Chill for 30 minutes or until set. 9. Carefully run a knife around the edge of each muffin cup to loosen candy. |
