Ingredients:
1 -1 1/2 lb roast beef, cut into thin slices
3/4 cup low-sodium shoyu (soya sauce)
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon freshly grated gingerroot
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 -3 tablespoons oil or 2 -3 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1. Mix together all sauce ingredients except the oil or butter.
2. Soak beef slices in sauce for at least 1 hour.
3. Fry in a saucepan in oil or butter for about 4 minutes per side, or until tender.
4. Serve with macaroni salad and rice for an island flare!
