Hawaiian Sweet and Sour Meatballs on a Stick |

This is a wonderful Amuse Bouche or tasting bite. They taste great, are easy to handle and look wonderful Ingredients:
1 lb meatballs (20-25 1-inch, use your favorite recipe or use frozen if you must) |
15 ounces pineapple chunks (fresh is always better, however canned works well) |
2 bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces (green, yellow, red and or or orange) |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup vinegar (i use apple cider) |
toothpick |
Directions:
1. Cook the meatballs. 2. In microwave or on stove top cook the peppers until just tender. 3. Place pepper, meatball and then pineapple on a toothpick. 4. Mix brown sugar and vinegar until thoroughly mixes. 5. Arrange on platter or on small tasting plates. 6. Drizzle a little sauce over the top of each. |
