This is a fantastic sauce to marinate and baste chicken, pork or fish. It is so versatile. You can also serve it on the side. It keeps well in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. It also freezes well.
Ingredients:
1 cup honey
1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
14 1/2 ounces pineapple chunks, drained. reserve juice
1 green bell pepper, minced
1 inch piece gingerroot
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Marinate chicken, fish or pork for 1 hour or overnight. Use as basting sauce.
