1 lb ground beef |
2/3 cup cracker crumb |
1 egg |
1/2 cup onion, minced |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon soya sauce |
1/2 cup maraschino cherry |
1 (10 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained |
Directions:
1. Mix together first six ingrediengs and shape into small meatballs. 2. Brown in skillet. 3. Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, vinegar and ketchup. 4. Cook over medium heat, slowly adding water and soya sauce. 5. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. 6. Add cherries and pineapple. 7. Place meatballs in roasting pan and cover with sauce/fruit mixture. 8. bake 300F 30 minutes. 9. serve with salad and rice. |
