                    I found this recipe in one of my cookbooks I got here in North Carolina, it is from Camp Lejuene. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                3/4 cup flour  |  
                                                1 teaspoon baking powder  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                3/4 cup sugar  |  
                                                2 eggs  |  
                                                1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained  |  
                                                1/2 cup chopped dates  |  
                                                1/2 cup nuts  |  
                                                1/2 cup coconut  |  
                                                confectioners' sugar  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and eggs. Blend well with mixer. Fold in remaining ingredients, except confectioners sugar. Spread in greased 9  pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350. Cool slightly. Cut into squares. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.                              |
