Yet another yummy recipe from an M&M Holiday Baking cookbook. Quick cooking oats may be used. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups old fashioned oats, uncooked |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 3/4 cups miniature m&m baking bits |
1 cup shredded coconut |
1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine oats, flour baking powder and baking soda; blend into cream mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 13-15 minutes. 4. Cool on wire racks and store in airtight container. |
