This is one the recipes from my mom and grandmothers cookbook that was translated - seems to come out good eats Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 tsp vanilla |
1 1/2 cup flour |
1 - 15 oz canned crushed pinapple |
1/4 cup melted butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup shredded coconut |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. combine 1st 4 ingredients together and press into a 9x9 ungreased glass dish - bake for 15 minutes. Cool. 3. Spread pineapple (well drained) on cooled bottom layer. 4. Beat together melted butter, 3/4 cup sugar, egg, vanilla and coconut 5. Spread coconut mixture over pineapple layer and bake for 30 minutes. |
