Hawaiian Delight Ice Cream |

This is indeed a delight, a lovely taste sensation. I love the whole idea of tropical ice cream. Slightly modified from . Ingredients:
1 c whipping cream |
2 c half-and-half |
(or may reverse amounts for above if you like extra-fluffy ice cream) |
14oz sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
1/8 tsp coconut extract (or less - be careful, it's strong) |
1/3 cup macadamia nuts, chopped |
8 or more maraschino cherries, drained & thirded |
1/3 cup coconut |
8oz crushed pineapple, drained |
1-1/2 chopped bananas |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients till smooth.
2. Pour mixture into ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions.
3. Add rest of ingredients while ice cream is still soft enough, maybe in the last 5 minutes,
4. or take ice cream out, stir in fruit, coconut, and nuts, and chill in freezer.
5. Eat and smile!
