This recipe comes to me from an old church cookbook. It is very delicious!! You could also use boneless, skinless, chicken breasts in place of the whole chicken in this recipe. Ingredients:
1 medium fryer |
16 ounces peaches, halves |
8 1/4 ounces pineapple chunks |
1 cup rice |
Directions:
1. Fry chicken until light brown. 2. Place chicken in baking dish. 3. Drain peaches and pineapple, pouring liquid over chicken pieces. 4. Heat in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. 5. Place peaches and pineapple chunks around chicken and heat for 20 more minutes. 6. Serve over hot rice. |
