Quickly prepared and kid-friendly caramel flavoured pudding mixed in the dish you are cooking it in. Put it in the oven just before you begin to serve up dinner. Cut from a newspaper too many years ago to remember. Ingredients:
1 cup self raising flour |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup sultana (golden raisins) |
1/2 cup milk (use low fat if you wish) |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine |
2 tablespoons golden syrup |
2 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Mix together the first 3 ingredients in a medium casserole dish. Add the milk and stir until blended. 2. Stir the butter, syrup and water together and pour over. 3. Bake at 180C (350F) for 30-40 minutes. 4. Serve with cream or icecream. |
