Crust starts on the bottom and rises to the top, how cool is that? Long time recipe of mine, great with your favorite fruit. Growing up we used peaches since my Dad had a huge peach orchard. Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 cup milk |
1 pinch salt |
2 cups fruit, cooked |
Directions:
1. Mix well all ingredients, except fruit. 2. Pour into a buttered quart casserole dish that has 2 or 3 Tbl. butter chipped up in it. 3. Pour fruit over the batter. 4. Batter will rise to the top. 5. Cook at 400 for 30 minutes. |
