Papaw's recipe. Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen cubed hash brown potatoes |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup |
8 ounces sour cream |
2 -3 cups grated cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
salt & pepper |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted |
1/4 lb town house cracker, crushed |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except butter & crackers. 2. Spread into a greased 9 x13 dish. 3. Mix melted butter with crackers. 4. Crumble cracker mixture over potato mixture. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. |
