Parboiled potatoes are sliced and fried with bacon and onion and topped with fresh oregano. Tasty! Ingredients:
4 medium potatoes, peeled |
3 slices bacon, diced |
butter or oil (for frying) |
1 onion, sliced |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano |
Directions:
1. Parboil potatoes (or microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes). Cut into medium thick slices. Fry bacon until fat is transparent. Add butter and fry onion and potato with bacon, turning until browned. Sprinkle with oregano. Serves 6. 2. The Popular Potato. |
