I got this recipe from my boyfriend's mother. It was his favortie growing up and has quickly become a favorite in our household. Ingredients:
2 lbs. frozen southern-style hash browns |
1 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. pepper |
1/2 cup chopped onions |
1 cup sour cream |
8 oz. grated cheddar chesse |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1 cup chrushed cornflakes |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Defrost the potatoes 3. Combine everything except butter and cornflakes 4. Pour into a 13x9 (3 qt.) casserole dish 5. Mix cornflakes crumbs with melted butter and pour over potato mixture 6. Cover with foil and bake for one hour |
