Cracker Barrel hash brown casserole, so good, so fattening. Might want to swap out 1 soup for cream of chicken. Colby cheese makes a difference.
Ingredients:
2 lbs potatoes, hash brown frozen
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon pepper
1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
2 cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups cheese, colby shredded
12 crackers, crushed
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
Directions:
1. Thaw potatoes
2. combine soups, plus other ingredients other than crackers and marg. Add to potatoes. Pour into a 9 x 13 greased pan and bake at 350 for 35 min. Crush crackers and add to melted margarine, to taste and top over the casserole for crusty top.
