There are many variations to this recipe...perfect comfort food. Instead of cooking spray, I save the butter wrappers like my Mom did growing up and use them to grease the pan. It tastes better and is more economical. Ingredients:
1 cup thinly sliced green onion |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
32 ounces hash brown potatoes, thawed |
16 ounces sour cream |
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Combine all ingredients except paprika in a large bowl. 3. Spoon into a 13x9 baking dish coated with cooking spray. 4. Sprinkle with paprika. 5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until bubbly. |
