There are many variations to this recipe...perfect comfort food. Instead of cooking spray, I save the butter wrappers like my Mom did growing up and use them to grease the pan. It tastes better and is more economical.
Ingredients:
1 cup thinly sliced green onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon pepper
32 ounces hash brown potatoes, thawed
16 ounces sour cream
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 teaspoon paprika
cooking spray
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Combine all ingredients except paprika in a large bowl.
3. Spoon into a 13x9 baking dish coated with cooking spray.
4. Sprinkle with paprika.
5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until bubbly.
