An old 70's recipes found! Ingredients:
1 orange cake mix(i don't know if orange cake mix is made anymore. you can |
substitute a yellow cake mix and add a little finely grated orange peel) |
1 package vanilla instant pudding |
1/2 cup salad oil |
1/2 cup frozen orange juice, undiluted |
1/2 cup water |
4 eggs |
3 ounces galliano liqueur (6 tablespoons) |
1 ounce vodka (2 tablespoons |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl in order listed. Blend well, then beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a greased and floured, 12-cup bundt pan or a 10-inch tube pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool in pan 20 to 25 minutes. Invert on serving plate and pour glaze over warm cake. 2. Harvey Wallbanger Glaze 3. 1 cup powdered sugar 4. 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice(lemon preferred) 5. 1 1/2 tablespoons of Galliano Liqueur 6. Blend all ingredients together well and pour of the warm cake. This cake freezes well. |
