Nana's Recipe
Ingredients:
1 (32 ounce) package frozen hash browns, thawed
cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 -2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups corn flakes, crushed
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
Directions:
1. Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. In a large bowl combine hash browns, soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese 1/2 cup butter, and 1 1/2 tsp salt. Spoon into baking dish.
4. In small bowl, combine corn flake crumbs and 1/4 cup melted butter. Sprinkle over potatoes.
5. Bake 45 minutes or until bubbly.
