This has been a requirement of any company dinner at our house. It is very rich and cheesy, probably still fattening with low fat substitutes, which I use. The taste is wonderful Ingredients:
1 (32 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted |
1 cup sour cream |
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 medium onion, chopped (optional) |
2 cups corn flakes, crushed |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray. 3. Mix all ingredients together except topping ingredients in a large bowl. 4. Spoon into pan. 5. In a small bowl mix topping ingredients. 6. Sprinkle over potato mixture. 7. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. |
