Harry Gormley's Sour Cream Noodle Bake |

I have had this recipe forever and cannot remember where I got it! But is a great hamburger/ pasta dish with a few different ingredients to make it special! Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow or something similar) |
1 lb lean ground beef |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup small curd cottage cheese |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. Brown beef, drain off fat. 3. Add seasonings and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Combine green onions, sour cream, cottage cheese and pasta. 5. Place alternating layers of pasta mixture and meat mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish; starting with pasta and ending with meat mixture. 6. Top with cheddar cheese. 7. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbling around the edges. |
