This recipe is from the archives of Pioneer Lodge, a Senior's residence. It takes about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to bake. Excellent, easy recipe. Ingredients:
2 -4 chicken breasts (or other parts) |
1 cup sour cream |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 package dry onion soup mix |
salt & pepper |
water (if necessary) |
Directions:
1. Place chicken breasts in an oven proof casserole. 2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. 3. Cover and bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours until tender. 4. Uncover for the last 15 minutes to brown. |
