This cake has the good old fashioned taste. It is so good! Ingredients:
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 cups water |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
3 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
1/4 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. Stir together first 5 ingredients. 3. Add flour, sugar, soda and salt. 4. Stir until mixed well. 5. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 baking pan. 6. Bake for 40 minutes. 7. Frosting: Beat all ingredients until smooth and creamy. 8. Frost completely cooled cake. |
