Hara bhara paneer tikka gets its name and green colour from the healthy mint leaves and coriander leaves in it. Ingredients:
cottage cheese (paneer) 400 grams |
fresh coriander leaves 2 bunches |
mint leaves 1 bunch |
green chillies 4 |
garlic 10 cloves |
yogurt 1 cup |
salt to taste |
chaat masala 1 teaspoon |
garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon |
lemon juice 1 tablespoon |
oil 1 tablespoon |
Directions:
1. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves and mint leaves. Clean and chop green chillies. Peel and chop garlic. Chop paneer into big pieces. In a vessel take coriander leaves, mint leaves and add yogurt, salt, chaat masala powder, garam masala powder and lemon juice. Mix well and grind coarsely. Pour in little oil in the ground mixture and blend together. Add the paneer pieces and mix lightly. Marinate for half an hour. Place the marinated paneer pieces on skewers and cook in a preheated oven at high temperature. Serve hot. |
