I make chili different every time I make it and it always comes out good. but this little experiment came out delish. If you aren't a fan of spicy, this rec probably isn't for you.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground protein. ( i used turkey)
1 cup bourbon
2 tbsp semi sweet dark chocolate chips or chunks
1 yellow onion chopped
1 chopped jalepeno
1 package taco seasoning
1 tbsp cayene (if desired)
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp oregano
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can corn
3 cans beans of choice ( i used 2 s&w santa fe recipe and one can of kidney beans)
1 can of water
Directions:
1. Brown your meat or soy protein draining any excess fat if any
2. reduce heat to medium and add bourbon
3. cook of alcohol 1 minute
4. add seasonings and chopped onion and pepper
5. melt in chocolate
6. add remaining ingredients and simmer until it's time to eat
