I make chili different every time I make it and it always comes out good. but this little experiment came out delish. If you aren't a fan of spicy, this rec probably isn't for you. Ingredients:
1 lb ground protein. ( i used turkey) |
1 cup bourbon |
2 tbsp semi sweet dark chocolate chips or chunks |
1 yellow onion chopped |
1 chopped jalepeno |
1 package taco seasoning |
1 tbsp cayene (if desired) |
1 tbsp garlic powder |
2 tsp oregano |
2 cans diced tomatoes |
1 can corn |
3 cans beans of choice ( i used 2 s&w santa fe recipe and one can of kidney beans) |
1 can of water |
Directions:
1. Brown your meat or soy protein draining any excess fat if any 2. reduce heat to medium and add bourbon 3. cook of alcohol 1 minute 4. add seasonings and chopped onion and pepper 5. melt in chocolate 6. add remaining ingredients and simmer until it's time to eat |
