This soup is full of flavor, so good to curl up with. Makes a hearty supper with french bread. A cup of small pasta can be added the last 15 minutes of cooking. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
1 cup chopped onion |
4 cups beef broth |
2 tablespoons beef bouillon |
1 cup diced carrot |
1 1/2 cups sliced celery |
1 cup potato, cubes |
2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon marjoram |
salt |
Directions:
1. In soup pot, brown hamburger, add onion, saute 2 minutes. 2. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. |
