This is the Lancaster County version of stroganoff! Mmm-a great comfort food. ENJOY! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef, of your choice (we like turkey) |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/4 cup butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup sour cream |
2 cups egg noodles |
mushroom, sliced (optional) |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, cook ground meat, onion& butter until meat is cooked& onion is tender. 2. Stir in flour, salt, garlic salt, pepper& mushrooms. 3. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 4. Remove from heat. 5. Stir in mushroom soup. 6. Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered. 7. Stir in sour cream & heat thoroughly. 8. Serve over hot, buttered noodles. |
