Great flavor, but this recipe doesn't use cream of mushroom soup. Ingredients:
1/2 cup minced onion |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/4 cup butter |
1 lb hamburger |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 cup sour cream |
parsley |
egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Sautee onion, garlic and mushrooms in butter over medium heat. 2. Stir in meat and brown. 3. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes. 4. Stir in soup. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through. 5. Garnish with parsley. 6. Serve over egg noodles with popovers. |
