The bacon & sour cream give this a great flavor! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
4 slices bacon, diced (mesquite smoked works best) |
1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Melt 1-2 T. Butter Flavor CRISCO in a large frypan. 2. Brown together the ground beef, bacon & onion until all pink is gone & onion is tender. 3. Drain off any excess fat. 4. Stir in the soup & seasonings. 5. Cook uncovered over med.-low heat for 20 minutes, stirring often. 6. Stir in the sour cream & heat thoroughly, but do NOT boil. 7. Serve over rice or buttered noodles. |
