From a Lutheran Women's Community Cookbook. I have not tried this. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 can condensed beef consomme, undiluted |
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. In skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic until meat is no longer pink; drain Stir in consomme and mushrooms, lemon juice and pepper. 2. Simmer over low heat 20 minutes. 3. Stir in sour cream. 4. (Do Not Boil). 5. Serve over hot cooked noodles. |
