Grandma Parish's recipe. One of our favorites - we love it served over mashed potatoes. Super easy and freezes great! Ingredients:
1/4 cup minced onion |
1 garlic clove |
1/2 cup butter |
1 lb ground beef |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup mushroom (optional) |
Directions:
1. Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat and brown. Add mushrooms, flour, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in soup. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add sour cream, mix well and heat through. Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta or rice. |
