Hamburger Stew Without Tomato |

For some reason, this is the way my dad likes it. Just beef and onion. I add potato and carrots to mine, but this is the original. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, diced |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup flour |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Season beef with salt and pepper. 2. Brown beef and onion in large skillet until done. 3. While cooking, mix water and flour until dissolved. 4. Add mixture to skillet with beef and stir. 5. Stew will thicken as it cooks. 6. If thicker stew is desired, add flour by tablespoons. |
