For a complete meal; add green salad or green vegetable and rolls. Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
1 medium onion, sliced into rings |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 cup medium grain rice |
1 16 ounce can tomatoes, cut up |
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon worcestershire |
1/2 teaspoon dry basil, crushed |
Directions:
1. In skillet cook beef, onion, pepper, garlic until browned; drain. 2. Add rice; cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. 3. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, basil, 1 1/2 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt. 4. Bring to boiling. 5. Reduce heat. 6.
