This is a simple recipe that you can throw together in a flash. Most of the ingredients you will probably have on hand. If you use aluminum pans, you can get two pies out of this recipe Ingredients:
1 -2 unbaked pie shell |
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1 bell pepper, chopped |
1 tablespoon cornstarch, heaping |
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, cubed |
3/4 cup swiss cheese, cubed |
1/3 cup green onion, sliced |
salt, pepper, paprika, to taste |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with the green onion and bell pepper. Add salt and pepper to taste. In another bowl, add milk to the cornstarch gradually. Stir so it won't lump. Add eggs; mix all ingredients together and place in pie shell. Sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. |
