Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef, browned and drained |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 small onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen green beans (1 1/2 to 2 cups) or 1 (10 ounce) package corn (1 1/2 to 2 cups) or 1 (10 ounce) package mixed vegetables (1 1/2 to 2 cups) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups instant mashed potatoes |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
2/3 cup water |
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef; drain off fat. 2. Combine browned ground beef with tomato sauce, chopped onion, garlic, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper. 3. Transfer ground beef mixture to crockpot. 4. Combine potato flakes with sour cream and water. 5. Spread over beef mixture. 6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours (HIGH for 3 to 4 hours). 7. Sprinkle with the grated cheese 30 minutes before serving. |
