This one of the best hamburger pies I've tried Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/4 cup chopped green pepper |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 (8 ounce) can no-salt-added tomato sauce |
1 can sliced green beans, drained |
1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles; press into a glass pie plate that you've sprayed with cooking spray. 3. In a large skillet, brown ground beef, onion, garlic, and green pepper; drain if needed. 4. Stir in tomato sauce and green beans; heat through. 5. Spoon hot meat mixture into crust, top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika. 6. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. 7. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. 8. NOTE: You can add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce if you like (mix it in with the tomato sauce). |
