A quick meal to toss together Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 clove garlic |
salt |
pepper |
1 teaspoon sugar |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
6 green onions, including tops,chopped |
1 (8 ounce) package noodles, cooked and drained |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
1 cup sour cream (light is ok) |
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown beef and clove of garlic. 2. Add salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce; cover and cook slowly for 15-20 minutes. 3. In separate bowl, mix green onions, cream cheese and sour cream. 4. Spray a 3 quart casserole dish. 5. Put in 1/2 the noodles, half the sour cream mixture and half the meat mixture. 6. Repeat the layers and top with the 3/4 cups of the cheddar cheese. 7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
