Very simple comfort food. Goes great over mashed or baked potatoes, rice or noodles. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped |
1/4 cup flour |
1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 cups milk |
1 tablespoon parsley |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. 2. Stir in flour, bouillon, mustard and steak sauce. Gradually stir in milk. 3. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Lower heat and simmer 1 minute, continuing to stir. 4. Mix in parsley, salt and pepper. |
